Hot Summer days and company

So I know it might be bad that I am posting this but since we don't live close to any of you...thought you would want to see how much fun life in Corpus is with Emma getting closer to two. YIKES! We pretty much have this same production everyday about something. I think it is because she doesn't have many words to tell me what is going on. Hopefully she will start talking more soon.

Ryan has been taking over the bath routine and getting Emma ready for bed. Everynight this is what she comes out wearing. (a top and bottom that do not match) He always says "she picked it out!" Like Father, like daughter....too silly!

This is one of Emma new things. She loves to open and close doors. For some reason this is the only door in the house she can open but she is very good at closing the rest.

Alicia, or as Emma knows her Auntie Alicia, came to visit this weekend. We had such a great time laughing and visiting. It was so nice to have a friend here!!! Emma loved her. She thought she was hilarious, just like her mama. We really just hung out but we did venture out to the beach on Saturday for a little while.
