I just found these cute pictures of Ethan and Emma. They are great buddies and even though they fight like brother and sister..... they love each other. :)
Here they are eating dinner at Emma's little table
Just a few funny moments that have happened lately. Or should I say not so funny to me but a true picture that my child is going to be just like me. I am frightened for her teenage years, as I was just such a joy to live with then.... not!
Yesterday we went to Academy to look for some crocs. Emma let me know that she did not want crocs because they were not cute. Hmm... so we looked all over trying to find some sort of sandal for the beach this summer. As we were looking Emma was pulling boxes of shoes off the shelf to open them and see what type of shoe was in it. I asked her to please stop and put the boxes back on the shelf. When she didn't listen, I had to get stern and say "Emma put them on the shelf NOW!" She looked right at me and said "Mommy don't talk to me like that!!!" (hands on hips and all). I am pretty sure my jaw hit the ground... I wasn't quite sure how to react to that. There was a poor man standing next to us who politely looked over to me and said "Oh honey, you have your hands full."
After leaving Academy empty handed with out any summer shoes for Emma, we headed to meet some friends at Sonic to play. Everything was going great until Emma came running over crying with blood coming out from all over her mouth. She fell and hit her mouth on the steps and her gums were bleeding. We cleaned her up and she ate ice cream and went back to play. Such a tough girl! It amazes me how she just bounces right back. She may be pretty but she is tough like her mama.
Sorry for the graphic picture... with icing on the side :) It looks so painful!
Today we decided to make some shamrock cookies. Here is my little baker rolling our the dough.
.
The finished product.... yummy!
