Almost Summer Time

We have had a busy couple of weeks! Seems that once summer gets close things always get busier.

Emma loves to read books to RyanPaul. I finally caught her reading and was able to take a picture. So sweet! RyanPaul adores his sister. He smiles anytime she walks into the room.

We attended a superhero Birthday party last week. I tried to buy Emma a Batman shirt to match RyanPaul but she was not having it. She said that was only for boys and she would not wear it. Luckily I have a friend who has cute graphics and she made an iron on for Emma with a blonde haired girl superhero. :)

Dinner time is pretty fun around here. RyanPaul loves to sit in the high chair. He is doing well with his cereal feedings. He just stares at Emma while we are eating.

I tried to get some good shots of RyanPaul this week. I have been really bad about taking pictures of him. I must have a million of Emma at this age.

We have been spending a lot of time playing outside in the evenings. We have to wait until 6:30 or later to head outside because of the heat. Summer time always brings late dinner times and late bedtimes. Emma is loving it!

RyanPaul loves to watch his crazy driving sister play. He laughs and talks as she runs and drives all over the yard.

I was thinking about beignets this day and so we had to wear our Cafe Du Monde shirt!

I had a field trip with my students on Thursday, Lauren came to babysitt RyanPaul while Emma was in school. We then all headed to pick up Emma and they wanted to play in our little pool. It was too funny seeing these big kids have so much fun in the pool. Of course Emma was in heaven playing with Lauren and Jacob.
(don't look at my disgusting backyard.... we are in the process of cleaning things up back there!)

On Friday, I spent my lunch break (or a little longer) taking Emma and RyanPaul to the Aquarium. They just opened this new Splash Pad and it is AWESOME! We will be living here this summer.

We are getting excited about RyanPaul's Baptism. It will be nice to all be able to go to The Woodlands together and spend time with family. Emma is excited that Daddy gets to come with us! :)
