I took the kids on a summer road trip at the end of July. We headed to Sea World for a day, then went to Dallas the next day for the weekend and then to The Woodlands for a week. I thought it would be exhausting to travel all that way by myself but we had a great time. We were just missing Daddy!

Emma loves to stay in hotels. She was so excited. RP on the other hand would only sleep if he was in the bed with me.
We know how to eat on the road! Had to get a Pappasitos fix in Austin on our way from San Antonio to Dallas.
We spent the weekend with my brother and his family. It was great to finally get to see their house and Emma LOVED playing with her cousins. Here they are doing some art!
We even drove out to Weatherford to visit friends of ours who used to live in Corpus. Emma looks like she should be a Haug child too! It was so great to see them!

My sweet baby girl started Pre-k two weeks ago! Here she is on the first day of school. She absolutely LOVES Pre-K. When I picked her up on the first day she was telling me about her day.... then she says "but I didn't learn to read today" ha. So cute she thinks it will happen in a day! :)

On Monday evening for his actual birthday, we cooked steak and artichokes. We had brownies with ice cream for dessert... all of Ryan's favorites. Is he really 33? Seems like yesterday we were sitting in senior English class meeting for the first time.
Here is Emma before school today. Friday is chapel day, so I try to send her in something cute. She wanted to wear this new dress I got her. My pretty girl!
I am sorry I am not on top of my blogging! Will try to be better but there are never enough hours in the day!
