New car and fun in the pool

Yesterday we spent the day in San Antonio looking for a deal to get rid of the truck and find a car that would get at least 30 mpg on the high way. Since we had negative equity in the truck and no one in the world wants to buy a truck right now it was difficult to get it done. The suckers at Volvo were the only one who could make it work so we jumped on the opportunity. Plus it is a safe car that should last us many years to come.

Then today we spent the morning playing out back. As I was getting Emma's pool set up I noticed a LARGE snake in the yard and it was having breakfast on a big frog. I didn't think to get a picture....sorry Ballay boys! BUT I SAVED THE FROG! Go me! I smashed it with the shovel. Unfortunately I didn't kill the snake but it let go of the frog and slithered away. I am getting chills just thinking that thing is still in the yard. Any how we managed to still have some fun in the pool with Emma in here little two piece Kimmie found for her. :)
