Smartie pants

Yesterday Emma and Max had an ichat! They are both so advanced.... no they both didn't know what to think about it but it was really cool! We will definitely have to do that more often. Here is a picture of the two of them from our visit to The Woodlands last week. How cute is this!

We had a MUCH better day today but Emma refused to nap??? I don't get it... but hey I never will. We hit stroller strides came home for lunch and an attempt at a nap. Then we went to HEB (Emma loves going there because they give buddy bucks.....the darn machine is always broken though!!) Luckily she was watching some kids outside and didn't seem to care that Buddy was sleeping (that is the sign they put up when it is broken!).

We came home....... played and then cooked Daddy dinner. This evening she was running around here like she had PURE sugar for dinner. Literally she was bouncing off the walls.... how can a kid who has been up all day with no nap have so much energy??? Oh well at least it was a happy one!

I have to brag a little here about me! HAHA..... I actually called three people about babysitting. (So proud of myself!) Ryan and I are going to join a bowling league on Thursday nights..... we were invited by someone from Ryan's work so this is our attempt to meet people and have some fun. Anyway, we need a babysitter for every Thursdays. Unfortunately, my first choice who was highly recommended by our friends Daniel and Erika couldn't do it that night. :( So I went out of a limb and called someone else I was given the name of by one of my stroller strides mommies. She is a college student at aTm -Corpus and is actually student teaching right now. Sounds pretty perfect. She is coming to meet us on Thursday! I am sooooo nervous about leaving Emma with someone we don't know very well but I guess I am going to have to have some trust. It really stinks not living near family!!! So I will let you all know how our meeting goes!
