One busy little girl!

Wow! Has this been a fun week. Even though it has started to really heat up here, we have managed to enjoy lots of outside activities as well as say good bye to one.
Ryan set up Emma's new pool last weekend, so here she is playing with Daddy in the pool. She loves to play "Ring Around the Rosie" in the pool.

We even managed a trip to the doctor on Wednesday. This is the first time she has had to see the doctor for being sick since we moved to Corpus. She woke up in the middle of the night with matted eyes so I thought we should make a trip in on Wednesday morning. It took us 3 pharmacies to find her eye drops but once we started them, she was much better by the end of the day and was able to return to school the next morning with perfectly clear eyes.

Emma has mastered the art of blowing bubbles. We spent several days this week, blowing bubbles outside in the late afternoon.

We had our last Kindermusik class this week. Emma has grown so much in this class. The first semester I could barely get her to get off of my lap. Now she is up singing and trying out all of the moves. Very cute!

Here she is with Coen (his big brother, Reily was in our class) Emma is in love with Reily and asks to see in practically everyday. He is about a year older than Emma and doesn't want too much to do with her, but she is still smitten with him. We might be in big trouble if she is already into boys!
Here is Emma doing the "Hokey Pokey"

Thursday night we had tickets to Disney on Ice. At first Emma was not too sure what to think about it, but after assuring her that the characters were not going to come up next to her, she warmed up and had a blast! I have to say I thought they did a great job. Ryan and I both enjoyed the show!
Here is Emma eating her Minnie popcorn!
We let her pick out a toy and this is what she chose... a Minnie Doll who had to watch the entire show with Emma

Then on Friday, we spent some time in the pool in the afternoon. Emma loves her new goggles and was cracking me up with them on her face. Too funny!

Emma has been saying the funniest things lately. Yesterday she said "Daddy did it." For those of you who don't know. Ryan always said "Dad Dad did it" (Dad Dad=Ryan's grandfather) when he was young and didn't want to get in trouble. We both just busted out laughing and I asked Emma if Dad Dad was visiting her in her dreams. She said "yes". So precious!

Our other big news is we are officially potty trained. Emma decided that she was ready to go number 2 on the potty and so we ran out on Tuesday night to buy her much desired Cinderella Baby. She has done a great job using the potty (while awake). I am so proud of her!!

Here are a few videos from the week.

Emma at Disney on Ice!

Here is my little monkey swinging on the strap that is supposed to buckle her into her swing...  my camera cut off but she so wants her cousin Collyn to swim with her in her pool. She also asks everyday for Ella Kate, Reily and Reese to come over and swim too. We need to have a playdate here VERY soon!

I finally caught Emma playing Stroller Strides... she absolutely loves to imitate what we do during our workouts. She is going to be one in shape kiddo if she keeps this up!

Needless to say, so far this weekend has been uneventful. We are trying to recover from the busy week. We did have a surprising day filled with rain! It rained twice at our house in one day!!!! I know it seems silly that I am excited about this but it NEVER rains here and when it does, it completely misses our house. It really helps the water bill when the sky decides to open up for us. Plus I am tired of looking at dead grass.
