The End of May

We have managed to pack our last week in May full of fun! On Monday we hit the beach again for a few hours in the late afternoon. Emma had a ball playing with her Cinderella barbie in the water. She was becoming very daring in the waves this time. Made Mommy a little nervous.

We are also very into dress up these days. After cleaning all the sand off from the beach she wanted to wear her Tinkerbell outfit until bed time. She was so cute running around the house in her outfit!

She has also been into reading books in her chair. I was finally able to catch a shot with the camera.

Once she saw the camera... no more books. :)

On Wednesday evening we headed to the Aquarium for a quick visit before they closed. Emma LOVES to go there and so I hope to be able to do this more over the summer.

Playing on the playground at the Aquarium

It was also Ms. Dorothy's last day at Emma's school. She has been the director of the Mother's Day Out program for over 40 years. So it was difficult for her to let go, as well as the kids. I think come Tuesday it will become real to Emma that she is leaving. She has been so wonderful and we will miss her so much!

Here are a few of the art projects Emma has come home with lately. They are all so cute! Ms. Dorothy has done a great job with these and I hope they will continue to make more cute things!
We also finally made it to a chat and play for Stroller Strides (we normally have bowling the same night as this). Emma had a ball playing on the swing set and the home we went to was GORGEOUS!!

One of Emma's favorite things to do after Stroller Strides is run up and down the hill. Here she is getting her exercise on. She always wants me to do it too and I am so exhausted by the end of class, I was glad she would do it by herself!

Today we hit a birthday party for a friend from Stroller Strides. Ethan turned 2 and Elmo showed up to help him celebrate. Emma had a blast!!

She was able to push the Walmart cart around outside

See Elmo (although we did better then when we saw the Easter bunny, she was still to scared to let go of the death grip she had on me and go say hi to Elmo. We did manage a high five while I was holding her so I guess that is progress)

This is about how close we were able to get to Elmo

We got to beat Elmo up

and get treats that fell

Sing Happy Birthday

Eat a yummy Elmo cupcake

and play with friends

Of course what would an update be without some videos! So here ya go.

We have just about mastered "The ABC's" and she LOVES to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"
