Fun and Exciting Wednesday!

Today was a busy one.... we headed to Stroller Strides this morning for our first "outside" experience. (We normally go on the days it is in the mall) It was great scenery right on the ocean front and we even had a little breeze.........but it was still SOOOOO HOT! Yesterday our high was 100, but felt 106. The hottest day of the year here in CC. UMMM isn't it September??? What is up with that? Anyway, I made it through the workout and Emma had a ball looking at the water and all the dogs walking by! We might have to wait until October to do it again though!

Then we headed home for some fun outside in the pool out back. I love Emma's dive it is hilarious! She had a pretty bad day today but managed to squeeze in a few hours of fun after nap time.

I received some great news today.................I GOT A JOB! I am soooo excited and I start on Monday. I will be a teacher for the Texas Virtual Academy and will work with home schooled students here in CC and in the San Antonio/Austin area. Things are probably going to be pretty overwhelming in the beginning, just as any job would be, but hopefully I will catch on quick.

Also, I found a Mother's Day out program for Emma, so at least I will have plenty of time to work while she is there on Tuesdays and Thursdays. God is so good and I am so thankful that he has led me to this. I think it is the perfect job for me right now.
