Potty Time

We have some exciting news here at The Gratland house! Little Miss Emma has decided to go tt on the potty! YEAH! We are still in the learning process but she has gone at least once a day and even went #2 on Sunday! So exciting. She has decided that she likes the big potty and not her little portable one, so we went out to buy (what Emma calls as a Potty Treat) a new seat and a stool for the big potty. She is really into being naked now and wants to go around with no pants or pull up on. 

Today she gave the playground a peep show. Her little friend Reily went potty in the grass at Stroller Strides today. So of course Emma wanted to show off her skills as well. Before I could get to her... her shorts were at her ankles and the pull up was half way off too. She so wanted to show that she could go potty too but couldn't figure out how to do it standing up like Reily. It was pretty funny I must say... although a little embarrassing. Eventually I told her there was not a potty on the playground and she was not a boy and could not do that. 

Hmmm am I am already having part of the boys have a... and girls have a.... not ready for that yet. 

On Sunday we went bowling.. had to make up the game we missed from being out of town. So Emma was able to go with us. This is pretty much how she spent the entire time. She just could not figure out how to get that "woof woof" out of there! Daddy even wasted several dollars to try and get it. But it was just stuck. It was not hard to get her to step away from the claw machine and she even talked about the "woof woof stuck" when we got home. How sad is that?

Emma was being a ham in the bathtub on Sunday night. Here are a few beauty shots. I love how her eyes look against the water. So beautiful. 

We are going camping this weekend so I am sure there will be another fun update on Sunday!
