Egg Hunt, Birthday Party and Fun in the Sun!

Today was filled with LOTS of fun! We had a quick egg hunt this morning with the Moms group I am in here in Corpus. Although I don't get to attend many events, I wanted to be apart of this. We were a bit late, so they just put a few eggs out for Emma to pick up on her own. She was so excited and was running to get the next egg.

We also attended a Birthday party for Coen, who is turning one. This is her little boy friend Reily's brother. So she was VERY excited about being able to go to Reily's house! The birthday party was great, lots of fun and it was a beautiful day to play outside. Emma was having a blast until the Easter Bunny arrived. She completely freaked out and was screaming at the top of her lungs every time the bunny came any where close to her. So we had to move inside. She sat by the window, gripping onto me, and watched that bunny's every move. When the bunny came inside to leave (had to walk right by us), she threw her basket and just went hysterical!!! It was so sad but so funny at the same time. What would you call a fear of a dressed up bunny? She was even telling Daddy tonight... no no bunny!!

After a good nap we hooked up the sprinkler and played in the yard this evening. She had a ball!! It was a great day here. I can't believe I managed to get some work done in between all of the fun! There is more fun to come tomorrow with the egg hunt at Emma's school and kindermusik.

Emma ate everything out of every egg she found at the party. Lucky for me, they were not all filled with chocolate!

I love her in her two piece. It fits much better this year. Thank you Kimmie for getting it for Emma.

Emma also insisted that she wear her rain boots for our trip to Target tonight. I got these as a shower gift and they are the perfect size for her now. They are so cute and she looks so cute in them!

I even managed to get two cute videos today! Enjoy!

Emma's favorite song is "he Wheels on the Bus" I was able to catch a quick video of her this evening in the kitchen singing. Of course she does not have any pants on! This is something new with her potty training. She goes to the potty so much, which is GREAT, but doesn't always like to put her pullup back on.
