It has been another busy weekend here in Corpus Christi. The weather has been so warm, I decided to take Emma to the beach for the afternoon/evening on Wednesday. She had a ball playing in the sand and running into the water. The water is still pretty cold, so she didn't really get much other than her feet in.
That afternoon Charlie and Bella were playing with Emma. Bella is so black you can hardly see her eyes in these pictures.
Here is Emma playing with them... this picture looks like she got a scratch on her face but she didn't.
On Saturday, we participate in the March for Babies for the March of Dimes here in Corpus Christi. It was a great walk along the bay in Downtown. Here is team Stroller Strides. (I know you can't really see me... I have on a blue hat and my Lamar jacket) :)

Lined up at the starting line... ready to go!
Here is Emma watching the DJ's that were there blaring music at 7:00am. Poor girl has been sleeping until 9 and I woke her up early to get to the walk.
Here we are after the walk
Then on Sunday afternoon we headed to Port Aransas to check out Sandfest. They have this every year and I have to say it was pretty cool. Emma was not very cooperative but we were able to see a bit and get the scoop on what it is all about. I was amazed at what someone can make out of sand!

Emma was not happy once we reached the finish line and there was a person dressed in the Bee costume cheering us on. She completely freaked out and started screaming as soon as she saw it. My poor child is terrified of anything dressed up in a costume!! She would not even get out of the stroller and play after that because she was afraid the Bee would come close to her. She has been asking about the Bee ever since and even woke up in the middle of the night screaming saying "NO NO Bee!!". I feel so bad. Any ideas on how to get rid of this fear? We have tickets to Disney on Ice at the end of May and I am afraid she is going to be screaming the entire time.
