The Gratlands love Christmas time

Today we spent the evening at the park in our neighborhood. Emma pushed her baby stroller with her baby in it all the way there and home. She had a blast skipping around the park and on the sidewalks.
Of course my child has NO fear! She loves to climb.

We spent 5 days in The Woodlands. We had a great visit and even got to stay an extra night. I was able to see some friends from work, but mostly spent time with family. The only downer was the speeding ticket I received on the way home! I know I deserved it but couldn't he give a break to a Mom driving 4 hours by herself with a screaming 2 year old and a dog!!! I was only going 8 over the speed limit! I told him MERRY CHRISTMAS after he gave it to me. I hope he felt bad but I doubt it.
Here is Emma cuddling with Nan and Papa in front of the fire place.

SNOW! We ended up staying an extra night due to the snow and icy roads in The Woodlands. Can you believe this? It was so awesome. I had to wake Emma up to take a few pictures in her first Texas snow!

Michael, Jessica and the kiddos came over to celebrate Nan's birthday on Sunday night. Here are Collyn and Chandler in front of the neighbors lights. They kids had a blast running all over the street!

Kisses for Papa

Nan and Papa have a blow up Nativity in their yard. As you can see Emma was scared of it and Kyle wants to be let go so she can jump on it. :)

Lunch with Nana and Pop after church on Sunday. Emma has a big piece of pizza in her mouth.

We went to the Loft on Saturday to check out the annual Christmas in Bethlehem. Emma had a blast in the petting zoo.

One year old Camel

Piglet and bunnies
Emma's favorite animal...duck! She was running around pointing at them saying duck, duck but would not get close enough to pet them.

I love this picture of Emma clinging to Pop's leg. Too funny

Checking it out before heading in

Our Christmas tree
Emma's pj's say- Dear Santa, It Wasn't Me!

We love this time of year! Christmas seems to bring so much happiness in our home! We are so happy to be able to share that with Emma this year since our house was on the market last year and we didn't get a tree or decorate. She loves to take the ornaments off of the tree and then put them back on. She also LOVES Christmas lights. We are really looking forward to her reaction to opening presents.
Only one more week of school for me. I can't wait to have my 2 week vacation!! The count down is on.
