So much to be Thankful for!

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving here in Corpus. Both sets of parents came to visit and Aunt Camille. Emma LOVED having her Nana, Pop, Nan, Pappa and Aunt C (as Emma calls her) here for the long weekend. We ate, shopped, played, and decorated. My house looks beautiful and is ready for Christmas. A BIG thank you goes our to my elf helpers! The highlights of the weekend were Aunt Camille getting her ears pierced at the mall, cleaning up grapefruits from the neighbors grapefruit tree, eating an awesome Thanksgiving meal followed by turkey gumbo the next night, eating shrimp and oysters at Snoopy's on the water, a girls shopping trip, and buying our Christmas tree.

I cried for a while after everyone left. I miss having family so close all the time. I hope that someday God will lead us back to The Woodlands but I guess you never know.

Doing puzzles with Nan and Pappa... Emma had to lay on her tummy just like Pappa

Emma had so much fun running and jumping all over the tree tent!

Emma misses everyone so much. This morning she woke up asking for all four of her grandparents and even Baily (Nana and Pop's dog). We need to do this again soon. It was sooo much fun!!
